A day of discovery on June 30, at Sandy Ground
The new school-Kan Karate Shindokai led by Thierry Guedj organizes a day of exploring this martial art, Saturday, June 30 in the morning in the hall of the MJC Sandy Ground (opposite the cinema). This free day is aimed primarily at children and teenagers who can share the joys of the sport in a safe.
Thierry Guedj opened his school Shindokai adults in February 2012. From September, schools will also be open to children and adolescents. To familiarize them with the sport, the school offers an Open House, June 30, with a discovery session for 5/9 from 9 to 10 years and a session for the 10/16 from 10am to 11.30am.
The Shindokai is a variant of Shidokan, he was born in Nice in 2007 created a certain Gilles Richard. Since then, the discipline has grown in southern France, but also in Eastern Europe and North Africa. Thierry Guedj develops discipline in St. Martin. He started martial arts in France by the Shotokan he practiced for four years, then to St. Martin where he practiced for 12 years Shidokan. Graduate DAF (Moderator Karate Federal), it is a black belt first dan FFKDA, and black belt 1st dan Shindokai since May 2012. He opened his school earlier this year and offers courses for adults every Tuesday and Thursday (18.30 à20h), Sandy Ground at the dojo.
As of the beginning of September, the dojo is open to children in classes for the 5/9 years on Wednesday from 14h to 15h and Saturday from 10am to 11am, and classes for teens on Wednesday from 15h to 16h30 and Saturday from 11am to 12pm.
