Sport and Leisure in Sint Maarten: FOOTBALL: TOURNAMENT REGIONAL DISTRICT U-17-SAINT-MARTIN
From 11 to 15 July 2012 football tournament for U17!
After the organization of tournaments at U14 and U15 April in May 2012, the District Football St. Martin and St. Barts has planned another youth tournament. This latest manifestation of the District will bring together players from category U17 (players born in 1997 and 1998) plus three players born in 1995, who will be admitted in each course during matches.
This competition developed by the youth commission under the chairmanship of the District’s responsible Anthony Hunt, will bring together delegations invited for the occasion, such as Trinidad, Anguilla, St. Maarten and the various local teams of St. Martin.
The opening ceremony will begin Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 24:00 in the field of Alberic Richards Stadium at Sandy Ground. Other meetings will continue on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00. Another fine organization of District Football St. Martin and St. Barthelemy, thus enabling the young footballers to confront clubs invited from surrounding islands, and linking friendships in a sporty and friendly, practicing their favorite sport in a healthy and natural. A report that the District will organize from 13 to 15 July 2012, a senior women’s tournament, with teams from Trinidad, Guadeloupe and Martinique.
